Mindy Sonnier

Bereavement Cordinator

Mindy Sonnier is the Bereavement Coordinator at HOPE Healthcare and Hospice. She is a 2022 graduate of Louisiana State University, where she obtained her master’s degree in social work.

Initially, Mindy started her social work career in Lafayette, LA, where she worked as an outpatient therapist.

Mindy started her hospice career in 2024 as a medical social worker and has served in this capacity for the past two years. She continues to serve families who have lost loved ones, by assisting them with processing the various stages of grief. Mindy is passionate about helping individuals through therapy, while uncovering their individual strengths that support the healing journey.

In her free time, you can find Mindy spending time with her family at the ballpark, basketball court, or relaxing with a good cup of coffee.
